Rev 5
Worthy is the Lion of Judah, the lamb of God that was slain.
Why the Lion of Judah? Because he has conquered. Conquered what?
Jesus is the Lion, strong from Judah, the root of David. He overcame in trial of life, in the temptations in the wilderness, in the agonies of the garden, the fears of death, and the bonds of the grave.
The 5th chapter is the great Redemption chapter In this chapter is included the great mysteries of God, from the creation and the fall of man until the final restitution of all things. Redemption! Redemption! What a great word! It means to buy again something that has been sold, by paying back the price to him that bought it. To deliver and bring out of bondage those who are kept prisoners, by their enemies.
Is my life sold for Christ. Has it been redeem for Christ?
Or is it still running round and round picking up the worths of the world for power, for status and for wealth?
The book in this chapter is sealed with seven seals and it can only be open if the seven seals are broken. Each seal comes a judgement.
But the end, the book or the scroll is about redemption. My life is a redeem life. How can I use it usefully and purposefully for you.
I will start with a lot and a lot of prayer, seeking and waiting...
