The greatest danger is when we do not know that we are in danger

The soul face the danger of the turning away (from the rights things of God) and the second is the complacency

 For the simple (waywardness, or naive) are killed by their turning away,
  and the complacency of fools destroys them;
(Proverbs 1:32 ESV)

Here the turning away is from God. Why - because of greed and pride.
