13 Oct 2014; Isaiah
The book of Isaiah comes timely as I began my new semester.
The call of Isaiah to ministry was during turbulence time of Judah. Judah has not obey God and trust not in the strength of God. Isaiah predicted that Judah would be sold to captivity but also promise a return.
It speaks the state of mind, the physical state as well as my spiritual state that I am currently in.
I want to bring the past to past and set the future right before God. It is time. I do not want to wait for the "disaster" to happen.
As such, even before I began the book of Isaiah, a book of Judgment and also a book of comfort. I want to take the judgement seriously and take the promises of comfort.
