Mathew 20: 29 And as they went out of Jericho, a great crowd followed him. 30 And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, [1] have mercy on us, Son of David!” 31 The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 32 And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” 33 They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.
Must we be like the blind men? I am refering to the case when you lose everthing, then come begging Jesus.
I am refering to the stubborn heart in us that caused us the failure to see. Yes I enjoyed the blessings of God, but I too knew the stubborn heart in me - the past idolatry is still in me. How can then my spiritual eyes be open and fully pledge my allegiance to Jesus?
I pray and ask for an enounter with God. As God leads me this year to put things to past, I pray that I will have a complete change in heart, a repent heart and a willingness to purely obey Christ

10:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, 2 and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.”
How can the Lord hardened heart! Impossible and no wonder my father failed to know God.
Let your heart not be hardened, (but it is not me, but the Lord who did it). Good that I know that and I will not let my heart be hardened. But to my father, I cannot do anything for it is the Lord who hardened his heart. Good that you know that and the more you should plea!
I believe God permits us choices and who are we to pit against the all soverign God. In Mathew 20:13 But he replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? We have choices, we choose to believe in Jesus now or later, and of course the rewards is the same, but for those who choose to accept now, we will toil more for the cost of following Christ. Who lose? Your choice.
Looking at God's view, men are all like dust, but so so precious to Him. He cannot force and will always give us the choice. Yes, He may have use the Pharoh, that we may (the salvation plan) see and know that the Lord is God. Did Pharoh lose his life - no, did he see the miracles - yes. Did he choose to believe? His choice.
The same goes to my father. Did I pray? Do Interceed? Do I really want his salvation and feel strongly for lost soul? The journey is for us to know that He is the Lord our God.
Rachael is moving on. Good, Trust God in His provision, live by faith. In the journey, I pray that I will learn and know that the Lord is God.
Isa 40: 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary;his understanding is unsearchable.29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary;they shall walk and not faint.

1 Kings 3: 10 It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. 11 And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12 behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you. 13 I give you also what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that no other king shall compare with you, all your days. 14 And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”
Live a life that is full of wisdom in God. Likewise, the rich man heard what Jesus told him, he went away sad because he has great pocessions.
A total surrender to God is about putting all your material needs to God. Abraham was told to sacrifice Issac, but God provided the ram. God don't need Issac, He wants your surrender.
Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to enter a needle hole, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. It is not the material richness that fail you, it is the surrender of these material that render us a failure to give totally to God.
Elisha prayed in 2Kings 6: 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
We need to have this change, to open our spiritual eyes, to see that the God we served provides, the God we serve is everything we need. I asked and pray for this encounter, that I may see. What a sinners I am! I pray for forgiveness, I need a radical change, a repentant of the heart. Where is my surrender and where is my dependence on God, where is my trust in His provisions?
Open up my eyes that I may see and that my heart may change.

Mathew 18:23-35 is on the master who forgive his servant on his debts, but the wicked servant in-turn did not forgive his servant on his debt.
And Jesus said, 35 So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”
It is not what we do that pleases the Father, but the change of heart that matters. If we have truely received the forgivness from the Father and experience the grace and if our core values does change, surely we will forgive. But if we are grateful for what God has done for us, yet has no change of heart, our actions ultimately reflect the evil of our heart.
Indeed, our lives were stain with a lot of unforgivnes, so many things we felt that was unfairly done to us. Even the little things we felt short change when we start comparing. The root problem lies that we did not believe in a God that will bless us. We did all we can to accumulate wealth, clear debts etc. Forgiveness and grace is then the key. See the grace, the forgiveness of sins, the greatest debts in our life, that was being forgiven by Jesus' blood, then we will be able to see that the wealth, the debts that we have or we owe is just too little.
Yes Lord, I desire your blessings and long for the day of breakthrough. Teach me dear Lord, that I could forgive my debtors and exercise the grace. Let me see the grace of Jesus on my seen and therefore not dwell on the little unfair things that people owe me. For neither these are eternal, nor these things benefits me. For all that I have now is sufficient for me and those that I loss, the Lord will bless. Remove the bitterness in me.
And Jesus said, 35 So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

Mathew chapter 18 was about faith like a little child, v3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." But the passage went on to say in v5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me". It went on to mentioned about sin and falling into sin, then v10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. " and v14 "So it is not the will of my [9] Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
So is it about your faith or about the little children that Jesus is concern about?
In context, I believe that Jesus is concern about you. The people has became more concern about the law and the acts of it. The heart and the realtionship with God is missing. The faith enable us to be close with God, it is not about entering the kingdom based on the faith of a child. It is about how your relationship with God and about how this relationship translate to your actions towards other.
The passage also talked about temptation and sin and causing the little ones to fall into sin and stumble them in coming to the kingdom. The warning is your legalism in the law has just did that. Be careful. Not that Jesus is concern about losing the sheep, but mainly address the people and they should have a change of heart, else they themselves will lose sight of the kingdom of God.
Peter caught the hint and asked, in v21 “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”
Of course, Jesus answered 49 times. Impossible. So it is not by the acts of man in anything you did, Jesus has already hinted that if is through your works, through legalism, you get the warning of falling out of the kingdom of God.
The answer of course lies in Jesus - as simply as just coming to Jesus. v4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. He will then stand to gain the kingdom of God.

These are the 2 last promises in Genesis (chapter 50) 24 And Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.” 25 Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”
Many years back, God promise that I will soar with wings like eagle. Yes indeed, and I too know that in order to soar I need to be first root in Him. This year will be a year of happening. It has been a big transition last year and I pray as things get settle down, it will be more clear and I can move in the presence and in the power of God.
I am going to Yunnan, but I do not where and how to start. I too know that like Joseph promises, it will not be complete in his life time. I pray that God will do the opening and as He leads and guide, He will show me the way. Again, it is about rooted in Him and active obedience. I pray against any ego about the work, for it is not mine but His.
I do not know hw my forex will go, but rememeber, all glory goes to God. Let the success be of God and let me not be arrogant of the profit nor be proud of the results. Even as I step out, the inconsistency and the voltailty of the market, I will need very much to depend on Him. For now, I do not have a fix income and my trust has to be in Him. I am like Joseph in a foreign land.

The story of Joseph was prominent in Genesis. Even as you read through Genesis, initial most would have thought that Joseph will carry on the line from Abraham, Issac, Jacob ... Joseph has the most favour and that arouse anger from his brothers, but God intervene and helped. Imagine you were one of the brothers, surely a sign of no favour from the father and from God.
I would feel for the brother, but all were made different. Live a life that is true to yourself. Judah did that. In the final blessings from his father, like a lion, he has gone up to the prey. When he spoke to Joseph, he soke the truth, knowing the mistake he has made and was more than willing to make up.
Lord, in a lot of sense of unjustification, I will have to learn to lean on you. I am in slumber, and I will wait on you for the day break. It will be a dawn, a day of happening. I have been in slumber too long, I yearn for your blessings. I yearn for a breakthrough, that I can lift my head high and say that the Lord has bless.

My body is tired, but let not the soul be tired. Through I came home from work, and that at least is a beautiful home.
What I have, the Lord bless. There is plentiful - enjoy your work, enjoy the freedom with time and the non-conformity of time. Learn, therefore to enjoy the work and the time with my family.
Jacob has plenty, but his longing is always for Josef. The many that he has pale as compare to that. Yearn therefore not for the riches, but be thankful that the Lord bless.
I am tired and not thinking now, but just to say love the Lord your God.

Many a times, when things are not doing well as they seem, the simple way is out. Just like the way, Jesus disciples intent to send the crowds away, but Jesus feed them.
My strength fail me a lot and anumber of times. I am running low and need a break through.
Lord, I pray, that I will dwell in you. Even though my intent is to go away because there is no food, but the Lord will provide. Hold on.
Remember, you are bless with a wonderful family and of course a God, who want you to soar.

God worked out his great slavation plan through Joseph. The reunion betweeb his brothers brought quite an emotions.
Gen41:51 Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh. “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my hardship and all my father's house.” 52 The name of the second he called Ephraim, “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”
The Lord bless Joseph and made him fruitful, but not after all the hardship. Thus he remembered God, both in bad times and in good times. I thank God that I do live in plenty, in good blessings, but let us not forget that should hardship comes, God is there.
In the story of Joseph that follow, three other main characters was reveal - Ruben, Judah and Benjamin. Benjamin played a small role. The other elder brothers made bold promise to Israel and take the lead to bring back food and the other brother from Egypt. It was Judah pleas to Joseph that Joseph broke out tears to reveal himself. Judah confessed everything and withhold nothing, so much so that Israel questioned why must he mentioned Benjamin. Judah also mentioned about Joseph and how the brother sold him to Egypt. I believed in his heart, he was determine to set all things right now, rather than bluff his way out of Egypt. His objectives was for his family to survive the family and put himself against all dangers that follow - resuse Simon, bring food back and protect Benjamin - so much so as the willinging to exhange his own life for these.
The repentant, the change in heart, moved by actions is what Judah did. In a same way, you know the ugly part of me that has to be removed and I pray that I will be able to be of great service to you.
I desire not only for me, but my household to serve you. This year will be a year of happening. God will bring about opening and bring things to past. I continue to allow God lead in the trip to Yunnan and back to EFC. I pray also for a date that I will be able to transit in my new work. Like Joseph and Judah, I do not know what comes next, like foreigner in a foreign land - danger and unknown. The hardship and the blessings, the courage and the leadership with a single purpose is all that set these two men apart - I pray for that!

Again and again Jacob has favour from God. Is then this favour bestow or did Jacob ask for it. If the blessing was bestow, then there is nothing we should do for this blessing. But if the blessing was due to Jacob's work, then there is something we can learn.
Jacob, from young, was branded as a deceiver, someone who pull another legs and someone who come from behind..
He journey off and had dreams, he wrestle with God.. Throughout all these encounters, he knew God. He made altars to remind himself about the places he encountered God and the blessings God told him.
He made enemies - his brother, the Cannanites people, but God showed favour and protect him and his family. This is a combination of God favour and ensure that the geonology continues. Esau has sold his birth right, and now Isaac's rightful heir is only Jacob. Jacob in his own way, pleased his brother and the land of the people to ensure his family safe passage. So in both, man and God's way, Jacob did what he need and gain the favour of God.
Jacob, did something that most of his brothers or his relative did not do - rid of all foreign God and foreign wives. God look at the heart and that has indeed set him apart.
I pray that as like Jacob who journey starting with himself and entered the promise land, I will too encountered God. I too pray for God favour, that until God touches me, I will not let go. Check my heart that it may go well with you. Bless me like the way you have bless Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Fear..
Mat 10:26-33 talks about fear of not getting the basic material needs. But God promise that He will take care of that.
Mat 10:34-38 talks about worry that our love ones are not cared for. The verses related to our relationship with other, but God says, take up the cross and follow him whole heartedly.
Mat 10:40-42 talks about receiving Jesus.
We have a lot of things to take care and worry - material needs, worldly concern, our family and our relationship with others. But Jesus says, the rewards is in heaven for those who receive Him. Not because, Jesus is not conern about our needs, its about priority. It is about putting the right thing first and that is Jesus.
Fear. Why? My focus is wrong. My strength is limited, its not about providing material wealth to my family, it is not about my family, but it is about Jesus. I guess is not about coming out on my own or to stay, but it is about putting Jesus first. He knew what is best, and what make me thinks that I will have more time with Jesus after I leave the company?
Put Him first, put the fear behind, ut the worry behind, but focus on Jesus, which He promise the rewards. What are these? I do not know, but just as He has provide for Jacob and watches over him, He too will guide and bless my hands on eveything that I do. In Jesus name I pray.

Genesis 28:4 May he give the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”
Sojourning refers to temporary dwellings.
I pray for a breakthought, that as the Lord will give me wings to soar like an eagle, I will be able to take root. Yes indeed, the workplace is my sojourning. But as I seek the Lord for a daya nd month, I pray that the Lord will lead me to a permanant place.
Yes indeed, as I leave, I will forgone a safety and flow of income, but I will have the time and the freedom, to spend more time with my family and even so, in God word's and deeds. More importantly, I will have to put my trust in Him, that I know that He is the one who called to leave on the day and the date.
Like Jacob, who encountered with God and realise that the place he rested his head is indeed the gate of heaven. Lord let me have a fresh encounter with you. I am leaving and will have to leave everything to you. As I seek for an identity, I pray that I will be able to find it, to find it in your name.

"And the lord has blessed abraham in all things."
the lord not only blesses us spiritually but in EVERY aspect of our lives.
For me, the Lord will bless me in my relationship with him, my career, my family, my friendships, favour with people, health, appearance, clothes, domestic helper, facial care, money, holidays..... my children's spouses, my children's studies
i cannot think of any more areas ....
"drink and i will water your camels."
why does abraham's servant want the woman to respond in this way? i think a woman who responds in this way shows that she has a kind heart and a diligent attitude. she also also initiative to do what is good and right. it takes a long time to water the camels and she also think of the needs of the animals who cannot talk. a woman sensitive to others.

Rach told me that if God closes a window, He will open a door.
In the same way, Mat 5:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Indeed, what will be added, expect stress, should you worry. It adds also a solution for other people, but do not add anything better for yourself.
Lod you have help me in forex, glory should due to you. Like Abraham, let not steal the glory, the sucess or the riches that comes from God blessing and crdit to yourself. My God has help and let this be a testimony that the sucess story is from God.

Look at how God has bless Abram. There was something about this person. He obeyed God and that was counted to him as righteousness. He believed God and that again was counted to him as righteousness.
Four kings against five. And the four managed to defeat the five. How can then Abram with only 318 trained men managed to defeat that four kings. Lord this is the promise and the bless I too desire. But I knew that Abram was set apart, but he was set apart because of his obedience and his beileve in God. He left and went to a place not known to him and God bless, simply he believe the calling and obediently went.
Lord set me apart, which I know that it start from the heart. Let me take faith in you. Let me too count my blessings and compare not with anyone else, but acknowledge that I should live a life worthy of Jesus Christ.
I pray that more importantly, that like Abram, let me be the man considered fearful in the eyes of God and not man. Let the life I live, I live fully in your presence.

Psalm 2
Ask of me and I will make the nations your heritage and the ends of the earth your possession.
Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
A lot of people has failed to ask. To ask is to acknowledge that the Lord is God, and that He can provide. It is easier to ask then to work for it. By doing so, we are depending on our strength, but by asking we humble ourselves and recognize the soverignity of God. As, such, I pray and ask for the impossible and that I will submit all plans to you, humble and acknowledge that you are my God.
Fear, (Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge) refers and again showed the awe and power of God, the creator of heven and earth. Why should we fear, because we are mere man. Trust in kings, they will fail, and so are other being that we put our trust in. The key word in Pro is beginning - first. It shows a desire, first also tell of priority and not refer to the start. IT is not because you fear then you then follow by knowledge. Fear God because we desire it as a priority, then knowledge will follows. For how would one gains wisdom and knowledge if we refuse to come to God and ask for it, or worst place ourself above God and think that we know a lot. I pray that I will put you first above all things. Forgive me that I think too highly of myself.
Lastly, refuge shows the provision of God for us in trouble. If we choose to fight, and not go into the city of refuge, we might die.
Therefore, in all my ways, acknowledge Him. You are my God and it is in you that I commit my plans to you.

Psalm 1
Blessed is the man.. who delights in the law of the Lord, he is like a tree planted by the stream, in all he does, he prosper.
This will be my prayer and the promise from God. Walk not in the counsel of the wicked, but delights in the law of the Lord. Therefore, remembers not my wicked ways last year, and let;s walk in righteouness in the Lord this year.
The dependence will come from Him, a tree planted by the stream. God will be my source of inspiration, my source of strength and my hope for this year. In all I do, let me be like that tree, near the stream, near to Him.
Lastly, the rewards, in all I do, let the glory and the propser goes back to God.
