Ezra
I was reading this colourful book (chinese children book) to Josef. I give thanks to God, for His blessings upon Singapore. I have not seen such book especially on Ezra, the prophets, kings and chronicles in colourful pictures and words. The words are from the bible and in addition the book give some historical background.

Josef so very interested in the book and the story of Ezra - though from what I know - seldom children story is extracted from history books and prophetic books.

What more wonderful is that after you read the text in the bible, you can find the similar story in chinese and pictures.

Ezra is about rebuilding the Temple, rebuilding the Wall and rebuilding the Hearts.
To me, the temple, is about God presence - is about establishing His presence in our lives.
The wall is about His promises - is about the "land", the poccession that He is giving to His people.
The heart - is about realtionship, It is about getting in deep relationship with God.

Ezra pointed out the difficulties in these 3 rebuildings. Satan is not giving it away without a fight.

I pray for my father, let not out anymore obstacle in his heart in rebuilding your presence in his life. The temple was stalled for 16years and it need only 4.5 years to complete. 16 years is a long years and therefore preseverve. Unless the Lord build, I pray and ask for salvation and for my father to know Christ.

I pray for the claiming back the promises - that I will raise up like an eagle and I will soar with Him. I establish this claim and like Ezra, the establishment of the wall is claiming back the land that once belong to them.

I pray for my family - Rachael, Josef and Deborah, that we establish our heart and be right with God. I pray for a deeper relationship with you.

For Rachael - she has been upset by the sudden change in eating habit and the increase in weigh. Lord comfort her and slow down the changes. She is also preparing the lessons - Lord help her to get the right material easily and fast.

For Josef, guide him and spur him to greater good works - not only in his studies, but also his walk with you. Let the stories I tell him become a habit and that he will want to read and dwell in your daily. I pray for special encounters with you.

Keep Deborah and Mathias safe. Keep watch over them, for He who watch over Isarel neither sleep nor slumber.

As for me, I wait for the day - I am eager to meet the target and so far has not been able to reach them. I know in His time - not by me but by His grace. Not my works but yours.
