12 Apr 2011; Rev 17
Rev 17 The seven hills of early Rome – the Cermalus, Palatium, and Velia (the three peaks of the Palatine Hill), the Cispius, Fagutalis, and Oppius (the three peaks of the Esquiline Hill), and the Sucusa – figured prominently in Roman mythology, religion, and politics.Tradition holds that the seven hills were first occupied by small settlements and not grouped or recognized as a city called Rome. Rev 17 mentioned about these 7 hills. If true, Revelation 17:9 refers to Rome as the 'Whore of Babylon". It reads: "This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits." The last empire that Daniel mentioned was The fourth kingdom of iron legs which then becomes the Roman Empire. We are living thus in the end times, with the fact of Europe consolidating again. Regardless, how many of us do recognize this? When Noah build the ark, who then will believe that the flood will come? Our living should be that of the eternal, gather then the treasures that is in heaven. Know that v14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful. The final triumph belongs to the Lord. I pray for myself, that my indulge is in and for the treasures in heaven. Let my mouth be of constant worship and praise, let my spirit be always be lifted up and in your presence. Unless your spirit goes before me I will not leave this place. Buried the past, the hurt and the anger. Press on towards the goal in Christ Jesus. If I have tens more years, make them then count for you, attaining the purposes you have for me.
