Phi 3:7-14
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake, I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith - that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and may share His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, that by any means possible, I may attain the resurrection from the death. Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, I press on to make it my own because Christ Jesus has made me His own. Brothers, I do not consider I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

The motivation is Christ. When you consider it all loss and what you can gain in Christ, that will be your purpose. It will not be the amount of money, the status. A choice and that make a remarkable energy to stain forward.

Why gain the whole world and yet lose your soul? This statement is for someone who console himself who cannot gain the world, or a little bit of it.

What is worst is for that someone who has no objectives or purpose in life! You can win the whole world for Christ! Use the talents God give you. Know the pieces of puzzle God wants in your life.

I pray, that as I seek God and seek the next step toward the vision in China. Javin is working in China, running his own business and at the same time he is doing God's work. Show me your way and lead me to the opportunity in Kunming and guide as how you want me to go from here.

I thank God for Rachael, who has been praying for the family. I pray that you bless her with the plans in her career. More importantly, I pray that she will continue to grow deeply in you. Let not everything be worth based on a monetary value. Let her see your plans and as you plant me in the place that is best for her and that she will be best use for your glory.

I pray for my children, living in this internet and globalization. Let their identiy be found in you and that their purposes and values be based on Christ. It is difficult to shunt them from the deceptions of Satan, but I pray that you will help them to recognize these deceptions - therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. Teach them to trust in You always.
