Numbers 32:1-33:39, Luke 4:31-5:11, Psalm 64, Proverbs 11:22

Luke 4:31 And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath,

But the people came with the demon pocessed and the sick.

Luke 4:43 but he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.”

Focus on the purpose. And in order to do so, be purposeful and stay focus.

Luke 4:42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desolate place.
Luke 5:16 But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.

The demons knew Jesus, the people failed to know Him.
The story of Peter was told differently. When Jesus called him,
Luke 5:8 But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”

Peter knew Jesus.

Knowing our purposes began with our focus on God. Knowing God began with a purposeful desire to focus on Jesus.

Lord, I know that in the week days, I tend to focus on the market more than you. I am like the crowd, I know and come to Jesus for a purpose - but not knowing you. Forgive me.

I pray that I will desire to focus on Jesus and value the time alone with You.

I know you will provide and through your purpose is to teach, you came and you heal and cast out demon. I pray to be liek Peter, to know that you have provided and know your desire to want me to be fisher of men. Amen.
