Isa 2:6 For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.7 Their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures;their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.8 Their land is filled with idols;they bow down to the work of their hands,to what their own fingers have made.

Such are the temptation of the world and such alluring that draw a man away from his faith.

The antidote to hording, which has no end is giving. Indeed you can fill your barn and your land with silver and gold - their is no end. God will bless so why horde the gifts and forget the giver.

Nevertheless, I pray for myself that I will not be a horder of gifts and his blessings, but a giver. On the other hand, I will too be a wise and prudent giver, a steward of His gifts.
