Judges 17-18
Where is God?

Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

Were the acts of Micah and the tribes of Dan justificable, simple because there is no king? The idol that Micah made became god and its status caused an upstir for its pocession.

Yes there was no king, but was there the presence of God? Did the people not know God? I don't think so, else Micah and the poeple of Dan would not have seek out a Levite to become their priest. I believed the poeple know the 'regulations' of God, the law set down by Mosses. But what happened?

Is there then a short cut to a compromise in our own lives when it comes to our walk with God? There is a God, but people do not seek Him. Worse, god is made to give us our advantage.

Lord, you are the God, the Lord in my lives. I know and acknowledge, that there are times, you are put in second place, as I seek out moments of pleasures and treasures. I pray that I will continue to run the race that you have given me and not to take the short cut. There will be no secondary things that will replace you.

I pray that I will finish well. I just began my business in forex and will embark on others, but it is your business that matters.
