2 Cor 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

John 4:53 The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household.

What are we seeking? The treasures or the healing?

What we really miss out is the real treasures and the real healing behind them.

In 2 Cor 4:7 - the treasures in jars of clay is to show the surpassing POWER of God.
In John 4:53 - the healing is to show SALVATION.

Therefore, the focus is God, is Jesus.

Yes we know that - but how discipline we are in seeking Him? One discipline is the reading, the studying of His words, noting down the things God speaks to us each day. Cultivating this discipline is a choice towards knowing God better.

I do admit there is a lot of wordly distraction. From the reading of Ruth, you will realize the outcome of Ruth and nothing heard out of her sister-in-law. The Lord will provide - our identity and our approval is not in what we have or how we better our neighbours. It is about want in the Lord and what we can live behind a legacy in Christ Jesus.

As such, I continue to pray for this cultivation of this discipline and Lord bring me nearer to you.

I also thank you for seeing Rachael through. Now her spirit is lifted. Even though she is sick, she is in better mood. Heal her and draw her closer to you.

Josef is having his exam. His maths paper is over by now. He is really a darling boy. Lord I believe you have great plan for him. Show him and grow him to be discipline in knowing you.

Deborah school has a first outbreak in HFMD and we have put her off to school - for at least 10 days. Continue to keep her safe during this period.

I also pray for my father, my mother-in-law health. Keep them for yourself.
