1 King 7:8 His own house where he was to dwell, in the other court back of the hall, was of like workmanship. Solomon also made a house like this hall for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.

This is something that contridicts the wisdom of Solomon. Or was it because of a wise political move to make peace with Egypt or was it because of lust overpowering the wisdom?

The people of Israsel was once upon a time in Egypt and in my opinion Solomon made that a political move to add peace in the region of Gaza. But that move may have cause Solomon his fall because the foreign gods slowly penetrate. But was it solely because of the Egyptian wife or was it because of other foreign wifes that Solomon took that caused his downfall?

Regardless, it is not OK, you don't have the will and setting such a foot hold breed fault line. I pray for myself in this area and that I continue to watch out. It is not OK and I do not have the will power to overcome any of such temptation.

Such a fall would caused my family and set a wrong teaching to my next generation, the price will be costly and I do not want to risk it.

This is the verses I will claim:
Psalm 128:1 Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vinewithin your house;your children will be like olive shootsaround your table.4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessedwho fears the Lord.

Lord I pray and ask that you keep me and my household, that we will fear you and thus be able to enjoy the fruits of your hands. Indeed, my family will be fruitful vine and an olive shoot.

I too pray for Josef, let him overcome thoughts of fear, of man and or beast and of the evil ones that want to harm him. I pray that he will know and learn that Christ who is in him is much greater that the one who is in the world. Use me to encourage him and allow him to claim the promises in Psalm 23.
