1 Kings 20:13 And behold, a prophet came near to Ahab king of Israel and said, “Thus says the Lord, Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will give it into your hand this day, and you shall know that I am the Lord.” 14 And Ahab said, “By whom?” He said, “Thus says the Lord, By the servants of the governors of the districts.” Then he said, “Who shall begin the battle?” He answered, “You.”
King Ahab really don't know who God is, from the way he answered the prophet. "I will give it into your hand..." Because he knew not the Lord, he don't belive the Lord would do anything like this through him.
Rachael shared with me on Josef, about how sensitive this boy is. He has never asked for things that his friends has and when he asked for it, to be paid by his own pocket money, that item was out of fashion. Indeed there are precious values to impart to him. Children are still children and it is also not because we cannot afford them.
More important, I am concerned about Josef feeling. He may or may not understand the values, the biblical values and biblical identiy that God want or set. He is just a child. Lord I lift this matter to you. Josef is really a precious boy and I ask that you will bless him and make him feel not "rejected". Love we love him and I know you love him too. Groom and allow us to teach him to be someone who know you deeply.
I refused to heed that my children do not know God and I pray that my children will be able to know, love and serve you, so much so that they will in turn do that to their children.
In another matter, I pray for the right helper at home. Things does not look so smooth with the new selection. The Lord will provide and she will be presented to us in a way we will be least expected. I have not pray and right now I am doing so. Lord, I submit the matter to you.
