Rach asked - how much do I pray for the kids and family?

Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but the war is wage between Satan and the off-springs of man.

Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea. (Revelation 12:17, ESV)

The 7th trumpet showed the war wage between the heavenly and drag down to earth. In Rev 11, God knew all these, because when the war in the heavenly is brought to earth - mankind will suffer and will be lose.

The 2 witnesses showed us the need to proclaim the gospel.

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. (Revelation 11:12, ESV)

And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. (Revelation 11:13, ESV)

God was with the 2 witnesses and restored them from death to live - a battle that is not without casualty, but God is with us. In Rev 11-13, the rest who saw, gave glory to God. Before that they rejoice at the death of the witnesses - a meaning for a purposeful life that all is laid down but not without God's intend.

Rev 12 began with the dragon trying to stop the birth of Christ. He failed, but Satan is not without power or that is the end. He has the power - to swipe a third of the star with him to earth. He continue to wage war.

The end is not there - because in Rev 12:17 - when Satan failed to destroy Christ, he tried to destroy the mother, and when he failed - he target her offspring.

War time. Lord I pray for my family that we will first stand our ground in our faith in you - the almighty God who is in control and intend  how this war is to be fought and end. This family will stand firm in our believe that your word for this is truth, the breath of God - spoken and guide us in both defensive and offensive against the enemies. We will stand firm and allow the holy spirit to guide us in active obedience in accordance to your battle plan - through divine opportunities and open / close doors - for the sake of reaching out to the souls of man, which is the purpose why the battle is about.

Lord help me and lead me as I use this break for personal revival as well as a time to ground the family as we first build our castle of defense. I pray for my marriage which is the strong tower for both refuge and attack. I pray and ask that the Lord to bless this marriage and let it grow strong.

Lastly, I pray for the children that they will find you important in their heart - not just as a figurative but a personal friend whom they will trust and entrust their lives to.

Lord bless me and build this family up for your intend as you open doors for us to reach out. Amen.
