13 Mar 2014; Rev 14
The picture or the vision seen by John in heaven changes.
A 144000 redeemed are worshiping and they sang songs that no one can learnt. Then followed by 3 angles proclaiming 3 messages.
It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless. (Revelation 14:4-5, ESV)
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit,“that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”(Revelation 14:13, ESV)
Till now one must be able to see the reality of heaven and hell. the war that wages on the souls of man hurl down into hell by the dragon, followed the false teacher and witnesses.
But before, what is our conviction? Are all these just just and so so.. Am I convince and be able to know that in all these midst - how great is our God and be awe at what is happening and what God is doing?
So far till Rev 14 - is about the rise of the king so that we can reign with Him.
How then to make God the center of your life? Are you willing to accept His reign and acknowledge His kingship? If God is not the center of your life - who then is God to you?
It start with the correcting our compulsion - that is do guard our heart and the things we do. Our conscience is our guide - just stop doing or just do what is in us the holy spirit tell us. Stop making sin causal.
We are under a lot if external influence, the deception of the devil. Guard against. Be instead keep ourselves in the presence of God - pray and worship. Dwell in His word. Speak positively, use kinds words with each other .. .. Just do it when the conscience or the Holy spirit tell us to.
The guide to our conscience is the word - the compass that points us. And this inner compass can only be aligned by God - therefore spent the time with God.
Be convicted by the words - let them come alive and become that guiding principle in your life. Conviction brings repent and repent changes the way we carry our life - our composure.
It seems as I write I need time, time to reflect and time to be with God - praying, worshiping and dwelling in his word. I pray for a possibility next week Monday - Thursday. Amen.
