1 Aug - 2 Chronicles 30-31; Romans 15:1-22; Psalm 25:1-15; Proverbs 20:13-15

Let those that have breath praise God.
Romans 15: "12 And again Isaiah says,

“The root of Jesse will come,
even he who arises to rule the Gentiles;
in him will the Gentiles hope.”

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Be filled with the joy of the Lord. Why should I be in constant slump, when I have a God who want to bless.

Look at two passage in today OT.
2Chr 30: "18 For a majority of the people, many of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than as prescribed. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord pardon everyone 19 who sets his heart to seek God, the Lord, the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary's rules of cleanness.” "

Our God is slow to anger - even though these people has forsake God, and failed to cleanse themselves, but God look at the heart - they came to Jesusalem - showed they still have a heart for God. Amen.

2 Chr 31:"9 And Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites about the heaps. 10 Azariah the chief priest, who was of the house of Zadok, answered him, “Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord, we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed his people, so that we have this large amount left.”"

Give and bless, just as the Lord has give and bless us. Don't just ask God for riches, I pray that indeed, first let, let me me right right God in the heart first. Amen.
