5 Aug 2007

5 Aug - Ezra 1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5 Psalm 27:7-14; Proverbs 20:22-23

It's a new begining. Finally, the king of Cyprus proclaim that the Jews can go back to Jerusalem. It's nice and imagining that "next year" will be the seventy years time frame, time to go back. How will you feel? I could imagining the happiness, but I cannot remember what God has done, only hearsay of the previous generation of why God has brought about the exile.

God so loved us, he give us a destiny. How do we view it? How many of us has a vision? Or are we simply live as God leads.. God gave the Isarelites the vision of the promise land, God gave them the return after 70years of exile, God gave us Jesus, God promise the return. What is then your destiny - don't just lives simply floating as God leads each day... Seek.

I thank God for giving me a vision - a vision in China, the place, the people and the purpose. Because of this vision, I pray that God will lead me and fuilfil the works leading to the vision. I am gearing towards financial independence - I do not how it will go this year and next year, I pray for favour. Even so, as we are planning a trip to China at the end of this year, I pray that you remind me, in particular of the passion.

Lord, let me be like David - a man after God's heart. He was a man not without sin, but he know how to come back to God. I thank God for loving me, so many times I have fall short of the glory of God. I pray for repentent - that I may come back to God. Indeed, as I plan to increase the capital for investment in the next one/two months, I pray for favour from the people I approach. I also pray for the success of the return on investment. I pray for the right decisions to make and I pray for wisdom. Like the kings who did right in God's eye, I will sek you before all major and minor battles.
