13 Aug -Nehemiah 5:14-7:60; 1 Corinthians 8; Psalm 33:1-11; Proverbs 21:8-10
In the OT, again Nehemiah was threatened. This time he was threatened in two ways. He was summoned to the place where the people intended harm to him. He was 'conned' to enter the temple and thus sin against the Lord and as a results proved not worthy of the works in undertook.
But praise to God, and I pray in the same manner, Nehemiah knew the evil plots of man. How did he ever know? I pray for prudent and that I may not only know the plans of God, but know the plots of man who intend me harm. I prayed for wisdom and be able to distinguish between the very thin line and understand the intend of God.
I pray for Rachael, to be patient and look beyond herself but the intend of God.
