Nehemiah 6: 1-14
The work don't go smoothly. Nehemiah was to rebuild the wall and opposition come.
They come in three ways - calling you away from the main task; they threaten you with false accusation and lastly through "personal" deception.
The focus of your work is for the Lord, but that has and should not be taken away by the concern and worries.
I am too eager in reaching the target, but let the Lord strengthen the process, so that you may know it is the Lord has blessed.
Opposition come so, that we may pause for a while, that we may come back to God. I have been so busy, that I have push God aside. Like what Nehemiah cried - strenghten my hands.
Passive confrontational - Nehemiah received threathen - he knew not to go into enemies land. And when the enemies put up false accusation, Nehemiah rebuke strongly and did not let the accusation go about as if nothing has happen and don't bother - this is something I have to learn. Even though they are false - I cannot let them go around -without doing anything - being passive and hope that everything can just go away.
The worse kind is deception that come from your own friends. I pray that I may see that and let not to fall prey. Its not about kindness, but knowing righteousness, doing what is right rather what is good. this is my weakness.
As I was doing my personal life map - Lord I ask - where is the sphere of influence - I don't see you putting me in any leadership position, so where are you leading me. Am I just on my own, or what plan you have for me.?
Place me out of my current situation. Amen

Ezra
I was reading this colourful book (chinese children book) to Josef. I give thanks to God, for His blessings upon Singapore. I have not seen such book especially on Ezra, the prophets, kings and chronicles in colourful pictures and words. The words are from the bible and in addition the book give some historical background.
Josef so very interested in the book and the story of Ezra - though from what I know - seldom children story is extracted from history books and prophetic books.
What more wonderful is that after you read the text in the bible, you can find the similar story in chinese and pictures.
Ezra is about rebuilding the Temple, rebuilding the Wall and rebuilding the Hearts.
To me, the temple, is about God presence - is about establishing His presence in our lives.
The wall is about His promises - is about the "land", the poccession that He is giving to His people.
The heart - is about realtionship, It is about getting in deep relationship with God.
Ezra pointed out the difficulties in these 3 rebuildings. Satan is not giving it away without a fight.
I pray for my father, let not out anymore obstacle in his heart in rebuilding your presence in his life. The temple was stalled for 16years and it need only 4.5 years to complete. 16 years is a long years and therefore preseverve. Unless the Lord build, I pray and ask for salvation and for my father to know Christ.
I pray for the claiming back the promises - that I will raise up like an eagle and I will soar with Him. I establish this claim and like Ezra, the establishment of the wall is claiming back the land that once belong to them.
I pray for my family - Rachael, Josef and Deborah, that we establish our heart and be right with God. I pray for a deeper relationship with you.
For Rachael - she has been upset by the sudden change in eating habit and the increase in weigh. Lord comfort her and slow down the changes. She is also preparing the lessons - Lord help her to get the right material easily and fast.
For Josef, guide him and spur him to greater good works - not only in his studies, but also his walk with you. Let the stories I tell him become a habit and that he will want to read and dwell in your daily. I pray for special encounters with you.
Keep Deborah and Mathias safe. Keep watch over them, for He who watch over Isarel neither sleep nor slumber.
As for me, I wait for the day - I am eager to meet the target and so far has not been able to reach them. I know in His time - not by me but by His grace. Not my works but yours.

Ezra 3:2 Then arose Jeshua the son of Jozadak, with his fellow priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel with his kinsmen, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.
It take someone like Jeshua to stand up and start doing what is right for God. Be that person.
It take Jeshua, who is a priests to do what is right for God. Know what is right to do
It take Jeshua who do what is right for God. Be in the actions.
Know and act what is right in th sight for God.
I need to be in actions, rather than just waiting. But how should I move when all things will only come to an end next April. Or is it because it is you who are waiting?
I have waited for a year - and I want to complete all the projects that I currently handled and no more. I need also the steady income of a certain amount to sustain th household as well as re-cycled th money for growing.
Moreover, what am I supposed to do? Where and how are not answer - and I will only began faithfully by serving in the church and render my services and network in where the Lord is leading.
I need a launch pad - which I have not found it - yet Lord, I pray, let me be the one to stand on that launch pad - let me be the right man with the right heart doing the things that are right before you.

2 Chr 36: 15 The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.
17 Therefore he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged. He gave them all into his hand. 18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.
The end of Judah - the end of David's kingdom and all that the Lord God has blessed and has given to the people of Israel has ended in foreign hand.
Surely, I want the legacy to continue, but I can't say the same for the generations to come, but I pray that the Lord will uphold His promises.
I began to see the awe in the promise land and His blessings, and pray that all these will come to past. I pray for my own heart to be continue to be right with God.
I pray for being able to render my services to Chruch in Woodland. Use me Lord and I avail myself. I recognize that all I have and the stage now I am in - belongs to you.
Humble my heart, that I recognize that all I have is because of the blessings from God. Let me learn that lessons from 2 Chr, that I will not end the way Judah ended- all the blessings return to void.
Instead,
Psa 27:4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after:that I may dwell in the house of the Lordall the days of my life,to gaze upon the beauty of the Lordand to inquire [6] in his temple.

2 Chr 32: 7 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Like David, King Hezekiah prayed and encouraged the people. But that was because King Hezekiah was right with God. Even though God has raised up the Assyrian against Jerusalem, but because He still loved His children, plus the attitude of the commander of the Assyrian army defiled God, God delivered King Hezekiah.
What then is our heart and what then should be our attitude? Beware and check them, so that I can be right with God always.
The land flowing with milk and honey. What is the heart and what is the right attitude to poccess it? No impossible - like that of the spies that sought out the land, or be strong and courages - like that of Joshua. Poccess the land and know that the stronghold cannot pit against the Lord - they can come with arm of flesh and strength, but it is the Lord we have, that they are pitting against.
I pray therefore to check my heart against any complacency, that it is and it is because of the Lord that I am entering the land and poccess the land.
As we are also looking for a house, Lord I pray that you will give us the best - best in your sight.
I pray for Rachael, that you will look after mother and child to full term of pregancy.
I pray for my Josef, who has grown much taller - that he will too grow not only in statue, but also in wisdom and in favour with God and man.
I pray for Deborah, that she will come to know Jesus.
I pray for father, that you will continue to work in his spirit.
I pray for Liyuan, that she will grow in you and be a disciple for you.

2 Chr 30:10 So the couriers went from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, but they laughed them to scorn and mocked them.
An invitation was sent from Judah to all Israel to participate in the Passover - for they had not kept it as often as prescribed.
So sad.
The question is that they have lose sight of God and has forgotten the goodness of God. Will then this happen to me or my family - that we get too complacement about His blessings and forget that it is God that has been blessings us.
In forex, I can make more but trading in and out frequently and the increase in profits was due to my effort. But I choose to place my trade and leave the results to God, knowing that He has bless and will bless - least that when the target is reach every month, I know that it was because of the Lord, my God.
I pray for close encounter with God, that we knew the goodness of God and this God. I need Him and we want to live a life that is purposed for Him.
I want to make move and know that my God will provide and He will bring them to past. Next year..

One thing I pray is for my family to settle in Church. Ps Edmond on Monday morning prayer ask the congregation to go into small group to pray - he said go into your CG and DG - what CG? This has been abandon long time ago when IDT start - the wolf has come and the sheep has scattered! For those who are left behind - not in IDT, you are on your own in Church. For those like me in IDT, we have what is call DG. But do you not know that it is not accountability group, but another teaching group - for my DG leader who is a teacher like to teach instead of listen. None is going Woodland, none has go Go100... seem so so distance. Worst still, my DG leader has ask me to stop going for IDT! Not even the IDT staff has done so... what kind of DG?! That is why now on Friday, I left after attending the plenary sessions.
BUT, I pray that God will provide us with the right group of people that we can keep each other accountable. I thank God for Paul as well as Steven and KM. I recognise that as we enter the land, we cannot be alone- for that is where the weakness is. I pray for myself that we can share the struggle and check on each other spiritual growth and spur each other to a bigger vision God has given. As for Rachael, I pray that she will be able to find her own group - a group that she can find comfortable in sharing and encouraging each other. Not a mentor or a disciple group, but a group that we can listen to each other and spur each other.
I believe that we cannot enter the land alone - we can spy it alone, but to possess it we need support. Lord settle us down and ground us to the Church as well as the people.
As I and Rachael pray this morning - the song Prepare the Way by Darrell Evans and Eric Nuzum. It spoke and confirm Isa 61:1-2. Prepare the way - make ready your heart. He has come to bring light to darkness, freedom to the captives, to restore the broken-hearted. It's time to proclaim the year of the Lord.
Isa 6:8 - "hear am I, send me"
Lord even as you prepare and I pray and ask that you prepare the heart of Rachael, myself and Josef. Let us be right in our heart with you and believe in ridiculous faith and things that you will do. Let us rid of all the unhappy past and sins - that the Lord will prepare everything new.
That His promise will come to past. amen

Our Allegiance
Knowing who God is - is theology. Head knowledge does not bring about a relationship. As such our allegiance who us who our master is and therfore proclaim to the world who our God is.
2 Chr24.
2 Chr 24:2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
Joash sat on the throne when he was seven. Jehoiada had thought the boy well and serve the Lord well.
2 Chr 24:17 Now after the death of Jehoiada the princes of Judah came and paid homage to the king. Then the king listened to them. 18 And they abandoned the house of the Lord, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols. And wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this guilt of theirs.
Joash anchored on Jehoiada, instead of making the Lord his God.
From the head - knowledge, we must put them into the heart. I started knowing God very much with knowledge in the head. Without sinking the knowledge, the knowing of God into my heart, God can never be my Lord. In Chinese, I am still the boss - 做主, I am still my own master.
Our allegiance to God - ackonowledging that He is the Lord requires us an act of surrender. Surrender is far more than an action, it is the willingness to die to self and allow God to take you more and more.
Our act of surrender begins with a broken heart and the fear of the God. It will be a series of events and encounters before we acknowledge this God is our Master. But it is our decisions to recognize in such events and encounter that God desire us to be closer with Him - so that and thereby acknowledging that He is the Lord, our God.
A bad day is not necessary no good - that we must face, but know that God has better plan and promise though that bad day. Therefore, by recognizing a bad event as a process of growth, a time of trusting God and that He who is our mater is in control.
An encounter with God can empty us - without this emptying - God cannot fill us. An encounter made us see God and know that He is real and He is near. The Lord out God that we serve is not some spirit and "idol" that we cannot see or touch. He called you into His presence - then who are we and why are we not following? Break that stubbornness to self and know that the Lord is our God.

Isa 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Are we ready?
I believed in the two reversal of curses during the fall of man - the toil on the ground and the pain in child birth.
The Lord has showed me that He will bless and that the land that was flowing with milk and honey - we are to process. He has showed the abundance that he will provide without the need to toil harder and harder on the ground, just as the way He has provided manna, the way He has bless David with the much gold for the temple.
Rachael is pregnant - just like Deborah birth - it will be painless. The birth date of Mathias will be next March.
I believed the time has come and the Lord has called - the first quarter of next year, giving the two signs of confirmation, the time for us to enter the land.
Here I am, send me. Let my family be ready. I pray not only for the right attitude, but a posture that is right before God. Isaiah, when he first saw the vision, he was afraid, for he feared greatly- and the Lord cleanse him.
I wait in great expectation. Lord lead me as I lead my family to process the land.
I pray for more time and even more time that I can be with Rachael. That together we can have time of intimacy as well as time to study the words together.

The year of the Lord's favour.
THe worhsip song this morning reminded me of His promise - I will soar with you, your spirit leads me on ...
Like Isaiah 61 say - the Spirit of the Lord God is upon you because the Lord has annointed me - to set, to proclaim ... the year of the Lord's favour.
This year has indeed the year of transition and preparation to enter the land.
I leave the results to God, instead of hastening the process, so that I do not miss out the anoint and the blessings of the Lord. In His time, we will enter the land - and that will be next year.
Even as I heard Ps Edmond spoke about obeying and believing that the Lord will bless Woodland and enter the land debt free. The Lord will provide for my family and knowing that when we enter the land, we can turst and know that the Lord has provided.
I pray for this period of santification and that my family will all be ready to enter the land. Keep my family safe and prepare all our hearts and trust in you.

Isa 4:2 In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel. 3 And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem, 4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning. [1] 5 Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy. 6 There will be a booth for shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.
Theology must lead to doxlogy. Meaning that the knowlege in God must lead to worship. It is first about A-ha, to Hmm, to Oh, to Wow.
For a none believer of God, when you first tell them about God, in courtesy they will give you a A-ha. The words will just be words and reading them does not meanings anything special to them.
But when God come into their life, the words take root and from just words, they become meaning, a meaning that describe this God that they just knew.
With some pointers, reading the words, does not seek just the words, but the giver of the word, that is God Himself. The Lord our God speak to us through the word. Now it will be a Hmm.
Finally, when you dig into the words and realised the inmeasurable love of God that is reveal and awe at the wonder of God, the words suddenly become Wow.
Take a look at Isa 4.
So what is a shade to someone. At most in Singapore it is a good place to be away from the sun and heat. Now imagine that shade cover the entire assembly - million of peopl and imagine that this shade form not just a cover, but a shelter that protects us from all elements, not just the heat, but rain. Now further imagine - that shade is the glory of God.
You are now immerse in this glory of God - that covers the land, the land of Singapore- Wow. How much is His love that provides and protects! No wonder verse 1 In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel AND that to me is God's promises to me and that I claim.
The Wow needs the discipline to continue to read and dwell in his words. The few disciplines are
1. Daily Reading
2. Daily Journalling (writing)
3. Daily praying
As you first read - boring, but continue. As you first write - nothing to pen, just scribble. When you first pray - tell God your fustration in reading and writing and ask Him to reveal to you the meaning of His words.
These disciplines build the form, they will become a habit and as you desire to seek the giver of the words, the words will become alive to you, the you will Wow and be awe at the wonders of God and His love for us.
I pray for Rachael, Josef, that they will continue to dig deep into your teasures and Lord, reveal to them your goodness and your love for them. As for me, help me to account for this discipline, at least for Rachael and Josef to encourage them to read your words.
I too pray for time to do bible study with them.

2 Chr12:1 When the rule of Rehoboam was established and he was strong, he abandoned the law of the Lord, and all Israel with him. 2 In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, because they had been unfaithful to the Lord
This was only the 3rd generation and no wonder the Chinese say that wealth can hardly preserve through the 3rd generation.
What then the legacy... even I am around and Josef is able to continue the work, how about the 3rd generation.
The first generation, came with nothing and saw how the Lord bless, like David, from a shepherd boy to a great king. Solomon enjoyed the secured establishment and peace and the Lord added more to him. But because Solomon did not go through the 'hardship' that David went through, soon he was overwhelm by plesasures and that even overtook the wisdom he has and exahgne that for foreigh gods and forsake the God of Israel.
Of course, the 3rd generation has everything that was accumulated from the last 2 generations and never witness God.
To me this is serious and no wonder 2 Tim 2: 2 2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
That is the witness and discipleshp from Paul to Timothy to faithful men and to others. 4 generations.
This I pray for the legacy to continue the works should not be from me, but I am a steward of your talents and your works. I pray that God you grant me the know-how to teach and impart Josef and the next generations and so much that Josef will be able to do likewise.
Lord, this is your work and I pray that you will preserve it and they will come to past.

Psa 18:31 For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?—32 the God who equipped me with strengthand made my way blameless.33 He made my feet like the feet of a deerand set me secure on the heights.34 He trains my hands for war,so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
God, yes you may claim to worship one or may have one, but can you make Him personal as to call Him your Lord? That is the personal aspect of this God that know me and want to love me. This God is never changing - like a rock. His love is never changing.
He gave strength to me, and made my way blameless - this reveal the character of my God - a righteous and just God. He bless and want to bless.
He set me on heights and I was again reminded of His promises to me that I will soar with Him on wings like eagle as I was reading through my 1998 journal. That promise came in 5th Oct 1995! Not only heights, but the agility to do so, plus secure. Amen.
Children are like arrows in our hand - our legacy. Imagine the bow He gave - bow of bronze. But He equipped me with the strength to pull it, plus the knowledge in war. To me, what a way to describe His promise for the work He has for me. The legacy will continue - far and accurate! Moreover I am on heights - secured!
Today Psalm reminded me of the promises, the work that God has given and they will all come to past. I am waiting for this moment. I pray that the Lord will direct me to where I will shoot and where to position myself.
I pray for Rachael that together we will position ourselves in secured heights and take up the bow. How wonderful that time will be - imagine the heights, singing praises to Lord!
I pray for both Josef and Deborah that we will guide them like good arrow, now that God has given us the bow of bronze. Imagine the time when Josef and Deborah arrow shoot right through the enemy stronghold and into the land that God has promised!
I look forward for that dawning to see what the Lord has installed for me - the Lord my God, who is the rock, blameless and righteous.

God's Gift
As I search out the name for baby that means God's gift, I was reminded of His gift for us - Jesus. So much as the act of God's love through actions so that we can see and know that He love us so so much.
Likewise, this child is a gift from God - He has blessed and He has given, in this time of transition. He choose to add to me another child as a sign of the transition into the promised land. This child will be a sign.
I pray it will be so, and Rachael will truely conceived a child. I pray for both mother and child to be healthy.

Isa 61:4 They shall build up the ancient ruins;they shall raise up the former devastations;they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.
5 Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks;foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;6 but you shall be called the priests of the Lord;they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God;you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast.
I look forward to the blessings, the shower of blessings from the Lord.
Indeed He has bleessed this nation, this nation of Singapore - a political stable country that has ensure growth,as well as the freedom to share the good news of Christ. Like Isaiah said, aliens and foreigners work and toil our land, while we eat the wealth of the nations.
The Lord has blessed the works of my hand and let me not forget the Lord in the process. Let me not hasten the work of the Lord, least that I claim glory for myself. The success will come and it will be in His time - He will hasten it and accordingly to His will.
Let me enjoyed the blessing, but but, so that the Lord's glory may be made known to the world. Likwise, let Singapore continue to growth and fulfil the role of lighthouse of South East Asia. I too pray for the work and the fruit through The Isaiah Initiative that it will be a lighthouse to the nations and the regions - SO THAT IN THE GLORY YOU SHALL BOAST - boast in the Lord!

I am still a very part of the world, therefore measured by the worldy standard.
The world measured you by your status - your promotion and your salary... I know I am still very part of this because when I realised that I am very due for promotion and not being so, I have that very strange feelings - though I know very well that what I have pursue is very different. I console myself that promotion and pay is related and console myself that I am earning much much more than those who had been promoted - what a real sick person am I!
Rom 4:1 What then shall we say was gained by [5] Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due.
The world measure your works based on your due - wages. The Isaiah Initiative is about kingdom giving - measured not by works but by fatih that the Lord will bring all to past - that He will bless, He will provides and He will lead.
If it is by works, indeed, I will boast how good am I and that is why the results and the good wages owe to me. The believe lead to a fatih call and a moving out to move into the promise land. God has showed me that how much immearsureable He can provide - the 100,000 talents of gold David has to build the temple.
Why then, am I still so so part of the world. When I check my account yesterday, it was still short of 20euro, but when I check it again this morning, it was 100euro above target, even minus off the interest, there was still 70euro - why am I still not satisfy?
Lord, I pray against this hording and comapring spirit. I pray that I will be able to come to a point that I can leave my current work place. I pray the setup and that they will quickly take shape and am assured of the steady income.
Why then am I praying in that matter? Where is that fatih of Abraham that I can take what I have already been bless with and leave, leave to claim the promise land?
Lord, you know the struggles in my heart - complex with the world and the desire of the promis land pulling me in both directions.
My consolation in blessings are my family. That you have blessed me with Rachael, Josef and Deborah.
My consolation is also in the few good men - and be accountable for all the money matters.
My joy should be in the Lord, pursuing that joy. I pray therefore continue to change my perspective of thing. That these struggles are real, but I can say 1 day, that the Lord has seen me through.

1 Chr 19:6 When the Ammonites saw that they had become a stench to David, Hanun and the Ammonites sent 1,000 talents [1] of silver to hire chariots and horsemen from Mesopotamia, from Aram-maacah, and from Zobah. 7 They hired 32,000 chariots and the king of Maacah with his army, who came and encamped before Medeba.
With 1000 talents of silver, they hired 32000 chariots. Imaging you have 100,000 talents of gold. By today price CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade), Gold is about 1000USD and Silver is about 20USD per ounce. 100,000 talents of gold is about 5,000,000 talents of silver, you can hire 160,000,000 chariots!
What will you do with this much of gold?
1 Chr 22:14 With great pains I have provided for the house of the Lord 100,000 talents [1] of gold, a million talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond weighing, for there is so much of it; timber and stone, too, I have provided.
David use them to build the house for the Lord.
Two things: God has blessed David with so so much and in addition to that peace. Basically, he has no deed for the gold to hire chariots - a further saving! Image the reserve the land has in excess to what was to be use for the temple. Just an equivalent of gold is enough to accelerate growth by today standard an economy. What a blessing!
The next is David don't sting on God. He gave back to God for His glory and for His honour!
The Lord will bless and bless beyond what you can imagine - do not short change God. To give another prespective, 1 talent is equal to 720 ounce. Also not taking into account inflation, that 100,000 talents would be 72,000,000 ounce or worth 72,000,000,000USD. If counting inflation, dating from 1000B.C, the amount would be some 1000 Trillion USD! That sum was only reserve for building the temple, surely the treasury has more gold.
Look beyond the blessing - the right heart like David and no wonder God call David a man after His own heart. David was definetely richer than the richest men today combine, but he gave all for the building of a temple for God. Imagine that amount for charity, you can save the world and eradicate poverty, why did David not do so? Give glory and honour back to God - seek first the kingdom of God! Giving to charity is all about yourself - glory and honour to me. Nobody will go unnotice if you donate 1 Trillion USD to charity even if you choose to remain annoynomous.
Wow! and amem

1 CHr 20:6 And there was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number, and he also was descended from the giants. 7 And when he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David's brother, struck him down. 8 These were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.
Goliath was not the only giants. There were more. David was not the only one that slay giant, the descendant of the Giants were slay by the servants of David.
It was not about David and what God has done for him. The giants in our land can also be removed. Jonathan must have the same courage and that faith in God when he met the giant.
Remember when Shimea, Jonathan father faced the enemies and Goliath, he was afraid. But that fear was overcome by Jonathan in a similar situation. The curse was broken when David slay the strong man.
God has promised and it is now for us to claim the land that belongs to the giants! Be strong and courageous. God through David and Jesus has shown that nothing is impossible!
1 Chr 20:20 Now Ornan was threshing wheat. He turned and saw the angel, and his four sons who were with him hid themselves. 21 As David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David and went out from the threshing floor and paid homage to David with his face to the ground. 22 And David said to Ornan, “Give me the site of the threshing floor that I may build on it an altar to the Lord—give it to me at its full price—that the plague may be averted from the people.” 23 Then Ornan said to David, “Take it, and let my lord the king do what seems good to him. See, I give the oxen for burnt offerings and the threshing sledges for the wood and the wheat for a grain offering; I give it all.”
What happen when you encountered God? Ornan did not even encountered God, but only His angle. His sons hid theselves because of fear, because the angle has come to destroy. When David ask for the land, Ornan gave it all to the Lord and even more than what was asked.
Seek the encounter with God - it will be life changing around. Knowing God, and knowing His awesome, changed our pespective about what is important and what is not.
I look forward to moving into Woodland. My prayer is for my family to find a place to serve you. I need to bring from just knowing you in the head, to knowing you in the heart to translating them into service. Jonathan know David, know God and saw what God and David can do, now it was for him to do it. Ornan saw the death inflicted around Israel and witnessed the angle faced to face. He saw mercy and realised that all that he had, his wealth means nothing.
Indeed all that we have means nothing, but all that we had been given - use them for God - take and claim the promise and the land!

1 Chr 18:3 David also defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah-Hamath, as he went to set up his monument [4] at the river Euphrates. 4 And David took from him 1,000 chariots, 7,000 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left enough for 100 chariots. 5 And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down 22,000 men of the Syrians. 6 Then David put garrisons [5] in Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the Lord gave victory to David [6] wherever he went.
In the face of the enemies - David hamstrung all the chariot horses except for 100! Why did he choose to put them in reserve and sent out only 100 chariots instead of crippling the 900 chariots? So that the victory belongs to God. The battle was won not because of David who has more chariots but David put his trust in God!
When he looked back after the battle, he will boost not of himself, but be able to give glory to God who provided him the victory.
In the same way, I want to look back and know that the places I have been and the things I have accomplish is not because of me - but because of God.
I pray that the process, even though it may be a humble one, the trust will be in God. Fatih is a process and let my faith like David be built not on my ability nor on my resources.
"The Lord has pull me through" and glory goes to God.

Isa 2:6 For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.7 Their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures;their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.8 Their land is filled with idols;they bow down to the work of their hands,to what their own fingers have made.
Such are the temptation of the world and such alluring that draw a man away from his faith.
The antidote to hording, which has no end is giving. Indeed you can fill your barn and your land with silver and gold - their is no end. God will bless so why horde the gifts and forget the giver.
Nevertheless, I pray for myself that I will not be a horder of gifts and his blessings, but a giver. On the other hand, I will too be a wise and prudent giver, a steward of His gifts.

Isa 1:3 The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master's crib, but Israel does not know,my people do not understand.”
11 “What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices?says the Lord;I have had enough of burnt offerings of ramsand the fat of well-fed beasts;I do not delight in the blood of bulls,or of lambs, or of goats.
18 “Come now, let us reason [3] together, says the Lord:though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword;for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Come let us reason - what an offering from the Lord, despite the wrongs that we have committed.
Let me than bring before the Lord, and allow him to wash me clean again. I have lost my consistency in journalling my walk in the Lord and I pray that this momentum will continue.
Let me dwell in your word daily and lead not only myself but my family to draw closer to God wach day.
I pray for time that the family can sit down and discuss about His word.
I pray for my father that you will continue to minister to his heart.

Psa 7:8 8 The Lord judges the peoples;judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end,and may you establish the righteous—you who test the minds and hearts,
The world see the ooutside, the Lord see the inside.
The world see the ooutside, the Lord see the inside.

Let's take time - especially so to wait on the Lord.
Indeed I have only read your word, but has not dwell deeply in them.
The Lord has blessed, I am not like Jabez, who was born with a name "pain" attached. Regardless, bless me and enlarge my territory. Jabez recognize his shortfall. In fact, he was the only one among the chronicles to break silence and ask boldy from God. God answered his prayer, because he was more honourable than his brother.
I pray for myself that likewise, I will be able to stand more honourable than my peers and boldly ask the Lord for blessings and the enalrgement of my territory.

It has been some time I have blog. Was it because of laziness or pure business?
Again, let me start, reading and digging into the words of God, seeking you, my Lord and my God.
As I read 1 Chronicles 2:18-4:4, I was reminded of God faithfulness. During the exile, and though many were made eunuch, God still have a line to Jesus and preserve His people. Pastor Edmund during his IDT sessions, spoke about finish well. Indeed, many began well but fail to finish well.
I had a dream, my service at ST is terminated. I knew it is OK because my heart is no longer there and in addition I have an alternate income. But the key is the word "being severe", stop and cut off. Not so much about work, but rather reminded about today verse about preservation and continuation for generation and generation to come that they may know the Lord and serve Him well.
This week, I did not managed to speak or teach Josef about God's word. A change must take place in order that the words be grounded. He always say he has finished reading his bible, but that to me is just a story book and refuse to re-read the book. He has not finished reading the bible yet, but more importantly, he has not seek the giver of the words.
I pray for myself as the leader of the household, to up hold the study of the words and desire to engage in God to be a continue process in my household. "Me and my household, we will serve the Lord". I pray for Rachael t be more engage in people and also be able to find good close chirstian sisters to share her live with. I am sad by the fact, she is going to miss the first session of the "Godly woman" because of trialogthon ( i don't even know how to spell that name).
I believe we need to be encourage and encourage others - a spiritual community. I pray for Rachael to be able to open up to someone, and for some mentor to "enter her live" and that she can share freely.
I too pray for Josef to find Godly friends and close firends who love you and know you. I pray that I can guide him too.
As for me I thank you for KM and Steven, that you have provided through an answered prayer for that someone to enter my lives and encourage and be encouraged with. I also thank you for blessing me with a mentor Paul that I can learn from him.
Finish well!

Acts 18:24 Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, [5] he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him and explained to him the way of God more accurately. 27 And when he wished to cross to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, 28 for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.
The talents that Apollos has - "eloquent", the discipline he has - "competent in the Scriptures", added with the discipleship training he has - "instructed in the way of the Lord", plus the annointing of the Holy Spirit, bear the fruit - "spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus.
The talents is what Apollos has (borned with it) but the competent in the Scriptures coems from a discipline to excel. The discipleship is what we can get from mentoring (from man), but the gift of the Holy Spirit is from God.
Form comes with discipline to build a capital to lay the Foundation to store up the capacity. Capital may not necessary be borned with, but through discipline we through a consistent and continuing doing, we can also builds the capital. Competent in the Scriptures come with the discipline to read and engage God's word daily and seek the giver of the word.
Added to knowing is also training. We don't try to be disciple, we train to be disciple. I pray and ask for someone to mentor and instruct me two years ago. God bless me with Paul. But more importantly, God has given us a spiritual instructor - the comforter that Jesus promise and that is the Holy Spirit.
With the foundation comes the freedom, but more importantly, the fruit of the freedom - the results of the discipline and all is for the work and the glory of God. It is also for living out a life in God.
I pray for continuation to work in my discipline in seeking God and his word and thus producing the work for the kingdom of God.
I need to watch and be reminded not to allow the seed of sins to sap and be able to grow in my closet and ruin the walk with God.

Psalm 145:10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your saints shall bless you!11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power,12 to make known to the children of man your [10] mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
Again I am reminded to keep myself right with God. There are many established forex company in the world world, how are we going to compete?
But what are we competing? We will take the land, we will take the giants. Open our spiritual eyes that we may see the glory of the Lord.
Therefore let all glory and the glory of the Lord be praise from generation to generations. The end is more important than the start.

2 Kings 10:28 Thus Jehu wiped out Baal from Israel. 29 But Jehu did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin—that is, the golden calves that were in Bethel and in Dan. 30 And the Lord said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” 31 But Jehu was not careful to walk in the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, which he made Israel to sin.
Becare to walk in the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all your heart.
I was again reminded about the walk I have with the Lord. As I tread in my path in forex and in business, remember and remember. Act not only what others know or see, but what is in my heart - be really really right with the Lord.

Psalm 144:12 May our sons in their youth be like plants full grown, our daughters like corner pillarscut for the structure of a palace;13 may our granaries be full, providing all kinds of produce;may our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;14 may our cattle be heavy with young, suffering no mishap or failure in bearing; [12]may there be no cry of distress in our streets!15 Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall!Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
How much are the desire for the Lord's blessing. And Indeed, the Lord will bless and will provide. The provision is total - in the household to the field and extended beyond the streets.
But what is the blessings for - like David, like Job? So that they may know that God is my Lord!
The study of Job and the study of David - as a father, pointed me and reminded me the priesty rule of a father. David whose heart is after God, failed in many ways in the matter of the family. Job whose heart is right, pray and offer sacrifices for his children, least that they curse God in their heart and sin against the Lord. Such is the attitude of Job - right with God, doing right and walking right with God (for he was a righteous man) and doing what is right for his family.
I was again reminded to Psalm 119:9 How can a young man keep his way pure?By guarding it according to your word.10 With my whole heart I seek you;let me not wander from your commandments!11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.12 Blessed are you, O Lord;teach me your statutes!13 With my lips I declareall the rules [3] of your mouth.14 In the way of your testimonies I delightas much as in all riches.15 I will meditate on your preceptsand fix my eyes on your ways.16 I will delight in your statutes;I will not forget your word.
Therefore this is my prayer and meditation, that I may be right with God and walk right with God and so that my children may too walk right with God. Knowing that the Lord will bless.

Elisha, the disciple of Elijah. He walked the same way as Elijah.
In the passage, I read from 2 King 4:1-17, through God, he multiplied the jars with oil, just like Elijah who multiply the oil and the flour. He too brought life from dead. The old woman was able to conceive a child, just like Elijah who raised the dead boy.
2 Cor 5:18-20, we were given the ministry of reconciliation, to bring about the message of reconciliation as we are the ambassador of Christ.
Two points to note. We are called to step out of our comfort zone and share the message of reconcilation to others.
The ministry of reconcilation were given to us, the moment we recived Christ. The job of a minsiter therefore does not just stop here. We must therefore train the minister and we don't try to be disciple, but we train to be disciple.
Elisha walked with Elijah and even his actions followed that of Elijah.
In my family, there are non-christian - my father, there are Christian - my Rachael and my children.
The ministry involve both reconcilation as well as discipleship.
The start of this minstry was when we recive Christ, but we need ourselves to to effective minister, and that is through the empowerment of the spiritual disciplines, by the spiritual community as well as by the Holy Spirit.
I pray for myself to be empowered and Lord lead me to the place where I can see mulitiplication as well as life, just the way Elisha did.
I pray that thus I can be effective shepherd in my family, bring my family to greater height with wings and deepening foundation with roots, in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray that I can be a bold and effective mininster of reconcilation to the people who do not know you. Lead and guide me in this area.

1 Kings 20:13 And behold, a prophet came near to Ahab king of Israel and said, “Thus says the Lord, Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will give it into your hand this day, and you shall know that I am the Lord.” 14 And Ahab said, “By whom?” He said, “Thus says the Lord, By the servants of the governors of the districts.” Then he said, “Who shall begin the battle?” He answered, “You.”
King Ahab really don't know who God is, from the way he answered the prophet. "I will give it into your hand..." Because he knew not the Lord, he don't belive the Lord would do anything like this through him.
Rachael shared with me on Josef, about how sensitive this boy is. He has never asked for things that his friends has and when he asked for it, to be paid by his own pocket money, that item was out of fashion. Indeed there are precious values to impart to him. Children are still children and it is also not because we cannot afford them.
More important, I am concerned about Josef feeling. He may or may not understand the values, the biblical values and biblical identiy that God want or set. He is just a child. Lord I lift this matter to you. Josef is really a precious boy and I ask that you will bless him and make him feel not "rejected". Love we love him and I know you love him too. Groom and allow us to teach him to be someone who know you deeply.
I refused to heed that my children do not know God and I pray that my children will be able to know, love and serve you, so much so that they will in turn do that to their children.
In another matter, I pray for the right helper at home. Things does not look so smooth with the new selection. The Lord will provide and she will be presented to us in a way we will be least expected. I have not pray and right now I am doing so. Lord, I submit the matter to you.

1 King 19:1-18
Weariness
After the battle with the 450 prophets of Baal, Elijah have the thoughts that all will go back well and the people would return to the Lord. But the work did not stop here and Elijah felt the weary. He fled and began asking why was he the only one left to do a work for God that don;t seem to have any pay back.
Instead of showing all the help - using the power and the resocurces of the world to assist Elijah, God showed Elijah that He care.
Its not the work and how you can finish for God. God is more concern about the worker. For forty days He provided for Elijah and the provision was through a witness of a miracle. Bread and a jar of water in the wilderness.
Its not the big and bang work that God is going to show, but the whisper of the inner heart. To Elijah God did not appear in the wind, the earthquake, but in a still small whisper.
The world gauge your success by the big and the bang and the work can never finish. The concern is not about working but that weariness that wears the heart. Major the major and set the priorities right.
I pray that as I leverage on my business, which the Lord has provided and bless, I will be able to be and always be reminded of my Jesus who love me. Let me live a fulfilled live.
I pray for PDA opportunities. I lamented not able to find the moment. But I will press on and pray for the chance to share the good news to the people I meet.

It has been three years during the reign of Ahab that the land has no rain. Yet King Ahab survived and continue to did evil.
Who suffer? The people of course, so was God trying to punish King Ahab or the people?
The deed of one brought about the judgment on many. Regardless, I believe the people heart is not right with God. It was not about Ahab alone.
Regardless, I pray for protection on my family, what I do will bring about a legacy in God's good name to my family.
Josef has an intelligent mind and I pray that his brain will be groom first to know God and further that brain be brought to the greater potential and talens God has for him. I too pray that I as parent will bring out that talents in him. I too pray for Josef to love you. Let him encounter you and experience your goodness. Lastly I too pray that he and aslo the family can serve you.
Elijah first encouter with God was when God fed him through the ravens. The Lord his God provided. When he met the widow, he knew God would provide - the jar never run empty. The next big test was never seen or done - raise the dead! But that truely increase the faith of Elijah. When faced with 450 against 1, Elijah knew who God is and was able to call fire from heaven!
The world look at Elijah as a super hero, with super power. But Elijah did was just to listen and act - God said, he do. Even in the face of potential death when God told him to meet Ahab.
Such "surrenderness". God can't fill an full vessel. I need to empty myself.
Everyday is a journey of growth, the encounter, the word and it will be a journey and I pray that I will learn obedience through a surrender life and be able to live out a life for Jesus.

In fairy tale, like the magic cooking pot where the porridge never run dry, this is wow so nice. I believe the idea was taken from Elijah.
Not only God made the jar not able to be spent, Elijah raises the dead. The possibility of raising the dead was therefore recorded in the OT, so why the insistent that their is not resurrection of the dead?
The widow that spend the time with Elijah knew that he was a prophet and the jar never went dry, but why doubt God? There was however no record of raising of the dead.
We saw the miracles but failed to believe, we know that God raises the dead, but only in our mind. What is really lacking is to bring these miracles personally to your heart.
Everyday, we pray but things don't happen. But when it does, do we acknowledge that God did the miracle? When things don;t happen, are we like the widow who don't believe?
Whether it happen the way we pray or not, God has a lesson for us all, what is God trying to teach us.
I pray for Jesus to be real and the personal experience we have in Him goes with us throughout the day. In times of goodness and bad, we know God is God and we believe.

So much evil after the reign of Solomon, both in Israel and in Judah.
The Lord was so so angry with Jeroboam, that he totally destroyed his generation, his linkage and his legacy. But that serve no warning to Baasha , whom God raised to melt out the punishment for Jeroboam.
Baasah did not learn his lesson and God did the same terrible thing to Baasha just as He did to Jeroboam.
Why such stift neck? Why so much evil? That King Ahab 34 In his days Hiel of Bethel built Jericho. He laid its foundation at the cost of Abiram his firstborn, and set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.
Lord I pray against such terrible things to happen in my family - let us not do the evil in your eyes - let our heart be wholly to you and let nothing more important other than you be worship. You have bless our hands, let not forget this blessings and let not forget God. I cannot understand the evil Ahab did to his children, but I can understand the idols that they worhsip. That pull, really pull them away from God. I pray that I will remain right with you and let not evil or idol pull me away. I pray that that you keep my family.
Let me be like Job that Pastor Edmund mentioned - first get right with God and a desire to get God first. The priesthood began with me and then let me remind myself of being right with God. Next pray for my children, my family, teach them how to pray and pray with them.
I admit I have been busy with my work and the house - let me make time for my kids - Guide them, Show them and Teach them to know God, Love God and to Serve God.

Acts 9:31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.
Two important ingredient - the fear of the Lord and the Spirit-filled life, leads to mulitiplication.
Looking at the life of Peter. He was restored - meaning he was not what he was before Jesus after His resurection restored him. Peter went back after Jesus death and became what he used to be - a fisheraman, instead of a fisher of man.
He started off with nothing - but now he did what Jesus did - healing and even resurecting the dead! He knew the Lord, love Him, walking in the fear of the Lord (look at how he react when he was confronted by the council) and of course filled with the Holy Spirit.
Now look at Jeroboam - a servant of Solomon whom God has promised to give ten tribes of Israel for him to rule. He started off with nothing, but when the kingdom just landed on his lap - suddenly he became a king. But because he fear man and not God and seek the advise of man and not be lead by the Spirit of God, he created 2 golden calves and it became a sin for Israel.
1 King 12:25 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim and lived there. And he went out from there and built Penuel. 26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the kingdom will turn back to the house of David. 27 If this people go up to offer sacrifices in the temple of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah.” 28 So the king took counsel and made two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “You have gone up to Jerusalem long enough. Behold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.” 29 And he set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. 30 Then this thing became a sin, for the people went as far as Dan to be before one.
I have started with nothing, but the Lord has blessed. I have therefore to remember to know and to fear the Lord - not by my hand, but by His grace and His blessings. I pray that I will not forget what the Lord has done.
It is therefore not about how to preseve what I have now, by my own strength, but by continue to walk in the fear of the Lord and be right with Him. It is also not the consuel of man on what to do to expand what the world would do to exapnd a business - but it will be the guidance of the Lord through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Even I were to lose everything, I started with nothing. I pray that I can be like Peter - doing the things that is right before God and right in the heart.

1 King 11:37 And I will take you, and you shall reign over all that your soul desires, and you shall be king over Israel. 38 And if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, I will be with you and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.
These are the words spoken not to David, not Solomon, but a person called Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephraimite of Zeredah, a servant of Solomon, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow.
Solomon in his folly has turned away from God because of the foreign wives he took. Because of them, he began to worship foreign gods.
1 King 11: 2 the Lord had said to the people of Israel, “You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love.
First, God knew and know that it is beyond the "I can handle" altitude when it comes to woman. You can't and the best way is not even to give in a little "I should be able to control".
Second, it look as if Solomon, the great wise king that God has bless has his kingdom well establish, (but look how he fall), but God look at the heart. He can raise David (a shepherd boy) and now he can raise a servant of Solomon to rule.
What then is the conditions? The conditions of the heart - a humble and a heart that is right with God. if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and my commandments
I pray therefore for myself that my heart will be right with you. It affect not this generation but next and next. God has intended for a leagacy and for us to succeed with a sucessor. Therefore let not the foolish of this generation destroy the legacy that God has intended to last.
Lord, continue to keep this family safely in your hands. As Josef and Deborah grow up, keep them from hurt and harm. As Josef ask for friend, I pray for someone the Lord will provide - someone who know you and love you- that will influence him in the ways of the Lord.
I pray for Rachael, that she will continue to enjoyed the time with the children. I too pray that she will use the time in Godly ways, enriching herself in you, your words and your intend for her. Bless her with a ministry that you will see her grow in you.
Keep my father and work on his salvation.

1 King 10:23 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. 24 And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.
Not only did Solomon has wealth, wisdom, but he has also the peace surrounding him to enjoy them. Really the envy of many. And to those who do not have them, would determine to be in Solomon shoe, least to enjoy and understand why Solomon can say everything is nothing.
Well, if God don't bless us as much as Solomon, then by what the role model such as Bill, Soro etc, we aim high so that at least we can taste wand reason why Solomon can say with all that he has, everything is under the sun and nothing is new. Least of all in order to understand Solomon position.
1 King 9:25 Three times a year Solomon used to offer up burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar that he built to the Lord, making offerings with it [5] before the Lord.
These were small acts as compare to the wealth and peace that Solomon enjoyed. BUT he choose to. The choice he made in his heart was first before all that he has was given. He did not ask for riches, but for a wisdom to govern the people. God gave the rest.
I remembered the things I asked for was something that will last - the soul of man and that was Christ. The next thing was a family - a name that carry a legacy throughout the generations.
I am leaving the leading to God for the fulfilling of the legacy - something that will be built upon (God's word and the tribune of God).
I look forward to each day, because God is teaching me something and growing. All are a blessings from Him. I just enjoy the day.

1 King 8: 18 But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
1 King 8:27 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!
It is about the heart. I have learnt that all that I have was and is from God. He created the world and bless us with many. He did not need anything, but desire for us to be right with Him.
It is therefore what we can do for God that please Him, but the intend in our actions that matters.
I am enjoying my work, my time, my family. I pray for PDA opportunities and have not forgotten the work in China. But I am not hurrying to piece things into my hands - as the lord leads, but as my heart continue to align to His will.
I pray for the repair of the house. I pray that the contractor will do a good job and that I will be able to have a smooth hand over. I thank God for providing us a good buyer - not the very particular type and in fact like what Rachael prayed - that this house, that we like and the Lord has blessed us with, continue to be in the hand of your believer. I just want to bless them with a pleasant house - despite the HDB rules and mess up the original design.
I pray for my family. Josef is having a good time at home learning everything from the Bible, his school subjects and at the same time balance with activities like jogging, swimming and cycling. Rachael has done a great job and I am glad that the Lord has provided the ability for Rachael to stop full time work. Bless Rachael time too, that she might enjoy the quiet time with you, with the children and family. Bless her time teaching part time in the U and poly. Lead her to a ministry.
Even as the family prepare to go to Woodsland Church, I pray that the Lord will prepare our hearts. Even as You lead, showed us the areas where we can served.
As for my father, he looked a bit weak lately. I pray that the medicine will do its job to get rid of his cancer cells. Strengthen him, but more importantly I pray for the Holy Spirit to tune his heart towards accpeting Jesus.
Deborah enjoyed her school. Protect her from any virus outbreak and also from any hurt and injury.
As for my forex new setup. I pray that your hand be upon it. Bless the work and when it has all come to pass, that we may know that it is because of the Lord. I am taking it causally, but to grow it I need funds. I pray that the Lord will provide and lead me to the people who you want me to meet and bless. I pray for both traders and manager to join me, that they will share the same passion and vision that I have (in China).
I too pray for a training classroom, with internet and a seating capacity of a dozen people, but without paying much, because I want to bless the students and do not want them to pay. I pray that you help me to set the direction for this second business.

1 King 7:8 His own house where he was to dwell, in the other court back of the hall, was of like workmanship. Solomon also made a house like this hall for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.
This is something that contridicts the wisdom of Solomon. Or was it because of a wise political move to make peace with Egypt or was it because of lust overpowering the wisdom?
The people of Israsel was once upon a time in Egypt and in my opinion Solomon made that a political move to add peace in the region of Gaza. But that move may have cause Solomon his fall because the foreign gods slowly penetrate. But was it solely because of the Egyptian wife or was it because of other foreign wifes that Solomon took that caused his downfall?
Regardless, it is not OK, you don't have the will and setting such a foot hold breed fault line. I pray for myself in this area and that I continue to watch out. It is not OK and I do not have the will power to overcome any of such temptation.
Such a fall would caused my family and set a wrong teaching to my next generation, the price will be costly and I do not want to risk it.
This is the verses I will claim:
Psalm 128:1 Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vinewithin your house;your children will be like olive shootsaround your table.4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessedwho fears the Lord.
Lord I pray and ask that you keep me and my household, that we will fear you and thus be able to enjoy the fruits of your hands. Indeed, my family will be fruitful vine and an olive shoot.
I too pray for Josef, let him overcome thoughts of fear, of man and or beast and of the evil ones that want to harm him. I pray that he will know and learn that Christ who is in him is much greater that the one who is in the world. Use me to encourage him and allow him to claim the promises in Psalm 23.

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.2 It is in vain that you rise up earlyand go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil;for he gives to his beloved sleep.
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.4 Like arrows in the hand of a warriorare the children [12] of one's youth.
The Lord has bless and I know it. He has blessed me and my household with abundance. I give thanks to the Lord my God.
But I do not want to worship the Lord and give thanks because of abundance, I want to give thanks for He has given me spiritual eyesight to see beyond what is temporal - the things of this world that cannot last or be brought out.
I give thanks for the pocessions I have so that I can build a legacy that last.
I thank you for blessing me with my beautiful family - whom I always give thanks. Give me the wisdom of a great warrior and direct my children in the way you want them to be and direct me on how and where to shoot them.
Give thanks!

Solomon and his wisdom
First of course - being right with God, he has asked for wisdom to govern God's people and God bless him for that.
In the first act of wisdom, he establised his kingdom. He killed his brother Adonijah and Joab and repalced the priest. These people had rebelled.
Mercy and judgement and doing what is right. Solomon was not soft, but acted harsely and without mercy against the people who rebelled against him. Compared this to David who allow the indecisiveness in dealing with his household matter to take full bloom and allowed his son to rebelled.
Solomon has the foresight in rooting out what is not right . But how much can we like Solomon and not be branded like what Jesus say - let those who has no sin throw the first stone? Don't we have mercy or worst still too much compassion and let the evil doers had an advatage over us?
The ket is wisdom - the act of wisdom, which is how we are right with God in our heart in the first place. Do what is right with God. It may be mercy and it may be judgement, but it is about doing what is right in your heart, doing what God wants.
I admit this is difficult for me - mercy and judgment. I can only pray and ask God for wisdom in matters like this. Even I should end a matter with judgement - it will not be based on what I think should be a righteousness action, but what God intend to do.
Such a difficult topic and I can only pray that God will be my guide in the actions and decisions I should that.

1 Kings 2:Be strong, and show yourself a man, 3 and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn,
As I step into a new phase, let me enjoy the process, let me always do it rembering God.
Rachael has stop work and that allowed her to spend more time with the children.
We have moved to a "new" house and let us settle in this small house.
I have moved into a new phase of business - creating a "trust" funds as well as making plan to grow the second wing in training and education.
But more important, I have learn to surrender to God all that I have and began to enjoy the "lightness" God has removed from overshadowing concerns and burdens. I began to enjoy running the everyday routines and task, and at the same time "look" out for opportunities to share the good news.
I thank God that as I pray for Christian brothers to partner me in my forex business - God bless me with 2- whom I can trust and so much as to entrust them the money. I am now praying for a Christian brother/sister whom I can trust hand over the running of this first business. I too pray for able Christian traders who I can trust and engage them in the common vision of why I start this business - China.
As I made plans for the second in training and education, I pray for God to open up a good venue - good rental, wireless connected, aircon and a seating capacity of about 20. I also pray for able lecturers in the subject as well as an event company whom I can partner well to organize such events.
Solomon began well, but ended badly. Joab finally met his end and again failed to end well, despite a good begining. I pray that I will continue to fear and obey God- doing what is right and what is righteous.
For the people whom I have the opportunity to share God's words - Hui Ping and Martin - I pray for the seed to take root.
I too pray for my family - yes Rachael has begin well - show her and guide her that she will too end well. Continue to keep watch over my children - both physicall, mental, social and spititual. I pray for Josef, that he will yearn for your words.
As for my father, I pray that he will not have any side effect and that he will know that it was because of your mercy, because we pray, because Jesus love him Work heart in his heart.

Psalm 124:8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Why do we need help? when we are in trouble? why are we in trouble?
Look at Acts 4, when Peter healed the lame beggar and shared the words concerning the rescurrection of Jesus, he was arrested and asked to stand in front of a council. But the Holy Spirit help him in what he has to say.
Running around, busy with our work, we faced responsibilities of dateline completion and failure to meet KPI (key performance indicator) etc We sought help.
It seems to me that in the world breed trouble - by the worldly standard, the struggle of everyday to see ends meet, to achieve status, power and even to please others. Can we be out and don't mix with the world.
In my own course of work in forex - I deal with numbers and can choose not to meet people. I set my own guidelines and performance and do not need to meddle with people politics. As such I can get rid of the world trouble.
But we are in the Father's business and this business is about people. As such the trouble that comes along is unavoidable. If you enter Satan territory, he will give you no peace. So you want trouble or choose to be trouble free?
I choose the Father's business and that means trouble, because of the need to interact with people and because of the need to enter Satan territory. But Psalm 124:8 8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
I pray that in times of such trouble, I will seek the Lord. Though these troubles, I pray that you allow me to learn and grow from it. Least of all, let my faith in you grow as you show me how to trust you and how you lead me out of troubles.
I thank you for rachael who has been taking care of the household and teaching the children. I thank you that you have bless my work. I thank you that my father has no side effect on the first dosage and that you have bless us with a good doctor for him and that we have sufficient funds to pay for the medicine.
Bless my children, they are smart and I pray that as parent, let us guid them, teach them and show them in God way. Keep them safe from sickness and from hurt.
I also thank you for answering my prayer in providing me with at least 2 partner to start up a company in forex. As we met, pray and laid down the guiding principles, I pray that you will continue to guide us to enter the next phase. Show us how we can use the excess funds for the extension of your work.

2 Sam 24:13 So Gad came to David and told him, and said to him, “Shall three [7] years of famine come to you in your land? Or will you flee three months before your foes while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days' pestilence in your land? Now consider, and decide what answer I shall return to him who sent me.” 14 Then David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is great; but let me not fall into the hand of man.”
6 But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” 7 And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. 8 And leaping up he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Mercy and grace.
Mercy is given when we don't deserve the pardon, but God forgive. Grace is that we received.
In the contrast OT and NT, one is on mercy and the other on grace.
The Lord our God, whom we know and serve is full with both. That is why David recognized the mercy of God and choose that as compare to the grace of man. David knew that with man, there is no mercy and even though God can preserve the life of David, the suffering from the flee may be hard to take. By grace, because of His love, God though in His righteousness has to pronounce judgment, and David knew in the recipient of judgment, God also exercises grace.
2 Sam 24:16 And when the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord relented from the calamity and said to the angel who was working destruction among the people, “It is enough; now stay your hand.”
The NT spoke about grace, something the lame beggar received. He has been on the mercy of man for his livelihood. It showed the goodness of God grace as compare to the mercy of man. Peter said, no money because that only satisfy the temporal, but by the grace of God and with walking restored, the beggar was no longer under the mercy of man. He now can made his own living. God has restored also his dignity.
It is all about love, the love God has for us.
I pray as I am busy to finish my work and Rachael is concern for my health for stretching to work late. On the other hand, I pray for my father that the love of God through Christ in us will be reveal and that he may know and receive the love and accept the grace of God.
I pray for the Lord to multiply the time being efficient and being efficacious (producing the intended result ).
I continue to pray for my marriage. That even though there is argument - let it be so because of love.

The Song of David
2 Sam 22
David's was someone after God's heart. WHat make him that? As I read 2 Sam 22 on his song, of course the gladness that comes from David, the song also tell of God's goodness and greatness. But maybe to David alone, who had encounter and had a close relationship with the Lord.
But no. There is something about David attitute towards God that I learnt from this song - ACTS. David Acknowledge the Lord, his goodness and greatness. David Called upon the Lord when he was distress. David has a Teachable sprit and David Sang to the Lord.
Yes we acknowledge God, but do we really call upon Him when we had a problem - the acknowledgement of His greatness failed to meet the dependancy on His ability to help us. We choose to depend on our strength first. Even we trust God and call upon Him when distress, do we have a teachable spirit. The process bring about just knowing to trusting to a desire to put God in our heart. From the mind to the heart. The result is of course the outward expression of worship - sing praises.
The song is a process, a spiritual formation from just knowing to growing deep with the Lord. It lays the foundation through theology of knowing who God is to formation of knowing who you are in God to freedom of expressing our love for the Lord. From 'ah' to 'oh' to 'wah' and to 'hmm'.
I pray that as I seek the Lord, I don't just seek the head knowledge, let them, the words sink deep into my heart and from the depth of my heart, these words will be able to spring forth the joy - the outward expression.
I pray for my children, to guide them is to point them to God's word. To show them is to point them to trust in the Lord and to teach them is to point them to grow deep and take joy. I have busy and nt able to read with Josef - can't even guide or show or teach him. I pray for thess busyness to be away and that I will be able to spend time to grow my family.
Keep Rachael and this marriage. Bless my realtionship with Rachael that the world may see the love of Christ.
To Deborah, I am concern about any infection in her lungs. I pray that as you pointed to us Dr Yeo, I pray that he will be able to give truthful and actual diagnose for Deborah. I pray that she will be OK.
Lastly for my father, I pray that the medicine will take effect in curbing the spread of his canerous cell. I pray that your love to contiue to melt his heart. I pray that I too will have more time to talk to him
I don't have opportunity today or probably I have miss it. But I pra for Jeff and I pray for KC and his family. As I try to make time next week, I pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare the way. Even for Mathew, I pray for opportunity to point him in growth towards the Lord.

Mat 20:20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to him with her sons, and kneeling before him she asked him for something. 21 And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.” 22 Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.” 23 He said to them, “You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.” 24 And when the ten heard it, they were indignant at the two brothers. 25 But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, [3] 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, [4] 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Who is the sons of Zebedee? Mat 4:21 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
Also today, reading from the last chapter in John 21:20 Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, the one who had been reclining at table close to him and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?” 21 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” 22 Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”
Jesus had alaready told Peter - follow me, but there seem somthing that Peter is missing out. That disciple that Jesus loved - seemed to be threathening Peter of his position and his status. Jesus loved this disciple so much that He revealed to him who is going to betray Him. During the morning sessions, Jesus asked Peter three times to follow Him. Events and the heart of man - the longing for favour, power and status - brought Peter to a wrong motive of heart.
Check our motive and our heart of following Jesus - it is not to gain the seating at the right or the left of Jesus. Peter was aware of this and should one of the disciple gain such a seat, it may not be him. So what - was Jesus answer to Peter.
Jesus need to restore Peter. As for the disciple - he loved Jesus. But for Peter because of his previous denial, Peter need to recover the lost heart. Jesus did so. Jesus was concern for the lost and in this case Peter.
forget about the work - the gain in status or power. Simply - being a disciple of Jesus is to love Him and follow Him. That disciple has loved Jesus and was following "them". It was not so for Peter and Jesus because of the care, the concern, the love - did what He ought to - asked Peter to love Him and follow Him.
The world set the standard for your worth, your staus, you reputation etc, but the Lord set the heart. All He want is for us as disciple of Christ to love Him (take up the cross daily) and follow Him.
Two actions and these I pray that I take them to the heart, because these actions was not for our physical acts to man to see, but an action of the heart towards the Lord. If you love me feed and tend my sheep. I pray for such opportunity each day, such that I will tend and feed your sheep, love you and follow you each day.

The doom of Absalom was discussed earlier. The next person to study is Joab, commander of David's army.
His brother was killed in an earlier battle (2 Sam 2:18-23) and he took revenge into his own hand, because David had made peace with Abner, and killed Abner.
2Sam 3:24 Then Joab went to the king and said, “What have you done? Behold, Abner came to you. Why is it that you have sent him away, so that he is gone? 25 You know that Abner the son of Ner came to deceive you and to know your going out and your coming in, and to know all that you are doing.”
Reading from today text in 2 Sam 20:9 And Joab said to Amasa, “Is it well with you, my brother?” And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him. 10 But Amasa did not observe the sword that was in Joab's hand. So Joab struck him with it in the stomach and spilled his entrails to the ground without striking a second blow, and he died.
Who is this Amasa? 2 Sam 19: 13 And say to Amasa, ‘Are you not my bone and my flesh? God do so to me and more also, if you are not commander of my army from now on in place of Joab.’”
Joab probably knew this.
The story will continue and assuming we stop here, what we can learn from Joab and what do you think he will do next.
The actions that David did to Joab, I believed, Joab will sonner or later rebell. Right or wrong?
Again, it is a matter of the heart - anger and unjust. To Joab, he has suffered much for David and yet the actions of David did not seem right to Joab.
2 Sam 19: 5 Then Joab came into the house to the king and said, “You have today covered with shame the faces of all your servants, who have this day saved your life and the lives of your sons and your daughters and the lives of your wives and your concubines, 6 because you love those who hate you and hate those who love you. For you have made it clear today that commanders and servants are nothing to you, for today I know that if Absalom were alive and all of us were dead today, then you would be pleased. 7 Now therefore arise, go out and speak kindly to your servants, for I swear by the Lord, if you do not go, not a man will stay with you this night, and this will be worse for you than all the evil that has come upon you from your youth until now.”
What is then our reaction to the unjust that we faced? Nevertheless, ask whether the justice we are going to take is it going against God and what is God-wise.
The fault lines has to be remove, else the resent will continue to build and if sins and actions did that is against the Lord being justified, we fall.
Till now the story of Joab will continue..
I pray that my heart will be check for anger and resentment. Let them not dwell in my heart that I may sin against the Lord. Replace them with the love of Jesus and recall how he has suffered a lot more unjust than any of us. Let the one who has no sin throw the first stone.
Of course, being the one in authority, I pray for decernment and the abilty to deal with matter so that I will not create fault lines and thus create unnecessary reblellion.
John 21
Peter and his disciple went back fishing, but the whole night they caught nothing. When Jesus came and asked them to throw the net on the right side, they caught fishes. Immediately, they recognized Jesus.
One thing the Lord is trying to teach and showed me in this passage is, I am always going back and will go back to do what is best that I know. But it is the Lord who showed that it is He who want to bless. It is not about what I can do, but what the Lord want me to do.
During breakfast, Jesus said - Feed my lambs, Tend my sheep, Feed my sheep and Follow me.
The world has it own interpretation of what is the best way to do a task, but the Lord is not about the tasks. You can fish all night and caught nothing. But when the Lord bless, He will provides. More importantly is that fellowship at breakfast - the time alone with Jesus, enjoying the time with the Lord and the fish that the Lord has provided.
I do not want to interprete what is best for the work in Yunnan and neither do I want to set the right and ought thing to do - business - chruch - gospel etc. Enjoy the fellowhisp. "Follow me".
The call to feed and tend the sheep is about the heart - it is about the love for Jesus. If you love me - feed, tend my sheep. Follow the heart beat of Jesus.
I pray that I will keep close to the heart of Jesus, as simply as loving Him. And allow Him to do a deeper work in me. By following, I will be able to fish more, by His display of love, you will show me how to feed and tend your sheep.
I pray for Kiew, whom I had conversation in the morning - a sense of unjust based on the worldly standard on religion and money. The Lord love him and this love is not based on what is logical, not based on money and not based on a ritual of a religion. Simply love.
I pray for KC's father and pray that I have the time next week to meet him. Lead me to show love and has the opportunity to reveal Jesus to him.
I thank you for Rachael. Yes indeed, the Lord has guide and loved her. Use her talents and her time further for your purpose in her. Raise her up in her own sphere of contacts and empower her to feed and tend your sheep.
I pray for my children that they will continue to learn and know the Lord each day.
I pray for my father heart - that you soften him to see the love of God has for him.
